Pouilly-Fumé is an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) located in the Loire wine region of France. The AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) guarantees the quality and specific characteristics of the wine, in this case, the whites made mainly from the Sauvignon Blanc grape, which is the base of Pouilly-Fumé.
Tasting
Colour: Pale yellow
Nose: Discreet, opening with notes of smoke, clementine leaves and citrus (lemon, lime, bergamot).
Palate: At first it is full-bodied, structured by the freshness of citrus fruits and, on the juicy palate, ripe fruits such as quince and pear. Spice and grapefruit melt into a long finish.
